Will YOU take up this challenge?

There are so many things that happen on a day-to-day basis in our lives that have impacts on us. Some bring about positive changes while others have a rather negative impact. Some events give us hope and comfort while other events in our lives make us weep and leave us wondering why this happened to us.

Ever since I can remember, me and my family – we have always been on this constant climb trying to overcome hardships and obstacles in life. Things happen, sometimes one right after  the other, that have the power to make any person feel hopeless. But even in the midst of the worst darkness, I have been taught to be happy.

As you may know, young children are quite naive and their thoughts are pure and straightforward. It was when I was in such a very young, naive age that I came across the story of Job, of how he kept looking to God even though he lost basically EVERYTHING a man can lose – his friends, family, health, wealth, everything! And that story changed my outlook about life.

Now, when bad things happen that scare me to death, my heart is set to go to its default option: “faith”. Sure, when something terrifying happens I get scared and panic at first. But it’s only momentary. There is a sense of peace that overcomes all fear that nothing in the world can offer. It is there with you no matter where you are, no matter what happens to you.

The biggest challenge is letting go in the face of fear. This means letting go of your thoughts and anxieties about what might happen, but it also means that you have to let go of your own expectations of the future. In our mind, we may have an idea of what the perfect future is like, but that may not always be God’s plan.

True happiness comes about when we learn to accept each and every thing happening in our life as it comes. It’s about letting good things AND bad things happen, with the ultimate faith that in the end, God’s will is what is happening. He knows best. The secret to true happiness is accepting God’s will in your life with all the courage you can muster, and this is also the ultimate test of your faith.

I was inspired to write this post because of a recent incident that quite shook me and my family: a really bad car accident. It completely destroyed our car, but my dad who was involved in it, escaped with minor pains and bruises, thanks to the miraculous power of God. While the doors of the car got jammed, somehow my dad’s door got unlocked even though the hit was right to the side of it. There had been a fire starting inside the car, but it went away on its own. Or, may I say, God intervened.

However minor it may seem to the world, I cannot help but accept that God is working miracles even in the smallest ways in our lives every day. The fact that we live to take a breath every morning is in itself a miracle, in my eyes at least. With this I would like to thank the Lord for His everlasting mercy and also I would like to ask YOU to take up this challenge.

Next time you have to face a situation of fear, of worry, of pain, where you lose or are on the verge of losing everything you have, will YOU step up to the challenge and be happy? Will you let go of your fears?

Will you rejoice in the Lord?

It may be hard, but trust me, it’s worth it.

God bless you all.

With deep love,

Stenila Simon

Love is Patient

Warm greetings to my dearest readers this morning. I apologize for not posting last week.. Today I would like to talk more about love.

One of the main commandments of Jesus Christ, our master, is to love one another. Love your friend like yourself. Love everyone, even your enemies. That is how we can identify the true Children of God in this chaotic world. By our love, we can find one another.

Have you ever thought of how loving our God is? We all talk on and on about how “God is love” and that He loved us so much He died for us, but do you ever seriously stop and think for a second, just how much He loves us?

People around the world still hate Jesus Christ and His followers, and it is really sad to see that Christians are being mocked for our belief and for telling the truth and trying to save people. Let’s face the truth – things are not as pretty as we think. The world still hates us more and more.

And why do they hate us? Because they do not have Christ, the ultimate form of love, in their hearts. God is almighty and powerful. He is the most powerful Being to ever be, and yet why did He let His only begotten Son die on the cross, being ridiculed by His enemies?

Why did He not use His power to save Himself from the cross? Why did He not use His power to stop the hammers of His enemies from nailing Him to the cross? Why?

Because He loved us, and He was dying for us. He endured all that torture silently, when He could have saved Himself at any time.

Being the children of God, we must learn to practice this patient love in our lives. Be patient to everyone. Forgive to your limits and beyond. Love people when they hate you.

Declare victory over hatred by the ever-growing love given to us by our Lord. Our love is what makes us different from the world. Our love is, my friends, what makes us isolated in this world, but our love is the light of this world. Every time we show kindness and love to those around us, we are spreading the comforting light of Christ, and we are defeating the devil’s plans.

So let us forget our hate and sorrows, and forget the wrongs of others, and try to make a change in this world.

Be Passionate, Stay Passionate

Hello and warm greetings once again to my dear readers!

Today I would like to share some words of encouragement to my friends out there striving to live in the righteous path of God – you will be rewarded greatly in heaven, so know that your efforts are not for nothing! Img_130127170211

Sometimes I feel as though my efforts to spread the gospel are going unseen in this world, and showing no fruit, but now I have realized that we will not know of the fruit until it is time for the harvest. Until then, keep on sowing the seeds of truth and the Word of God, my dear friends!!

Be passionate to do God’s work, and stay that way! We the children of God are in this together, and we must endure till the very end, with no rest or tire.

Strive to keep strong and faithful, and God will lead your way to His will!!

No matter what others around you may say of you or think of  you, stand strong in Christ, for He and you alone know the true value of the great passion that boils in your heart!!!

You’re never alone, my friend. You’re never alone.

The Shield of Faith

Good morning, and a warm welcome back to all my dear readers today! I have by God’s grace been doing alright, and I hope you have as well.

Today, let us return to our discussion of the Armor of God.

4. THE SHIELD OF FAITH

As we read before in Ephesians, Chapter 6, verse 14-17,

16 “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.”pt196_fierydarts-cropped

This, my friends, is what I have been waiting for. My favorite part of the Armor, the shield of faith!

Our faith in God alone can save us in any time of distress or need. We all know what a shield does for a soldier at battle. The shield is like a part of the armor that he can manipulate to protect different parts of his body according to the enemy’s attack.

A soldier’s shield moves according to how his hand moves, as it is his hand that holds his shield. If we all carry a shield of faith, it is our necessity to carry it and hold it up with all our might, no matter what, in order to protect ourselves so we may  fight further.

shield-of-faithI hope you understand that what I am trying to say is that our faith is our responsibility. Hold it up all the time, meaning don’t lose your faith. The enemy may try to separate you from your shield using his swords and spears, but only if we hold on to it so tight will we be able to protect ourselves. Our faith in God should be strong enough so that no matter who or what comes in our way, we will never let go of that shield.

Having strong faith protects us because God can only protect you if you believe and trust that He can. If you have read my earlier posts, then I trust you remember how I once talked of how our fear makes us vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy. If you would like to read that post once again, please CLICK HERE.

Why should we, the soldiers of the army of the almighty and powerful Heavenly Father, fear at all? Hold on to your faith, my dear fellow soldiers, because it is our duty to fight for our God.

As long as you don’t let go of your shield, the enemy can never touch you. But in order to be completely protected from the enemy, we need ALL the parts of the armor. That is precisely why I am continuing this subject and looking at each part of the armor one by one in detail.

Only if we know exactly what each part of the armor does and what it is comprised of, will we be able to do some soul-searching to see if we lack any of the parts of this armor.

Don’t forget that the enemy is looking for every chance to attack you, and you may not even know it; therefore, always be fully prepared for anything. Therefore, my friends, keepArmorOfGod-1_49213259_std your armor intact every second of every day, not letting the enemy touch you. Check your armor when you get the chance, looking to see if you’ve accidentally taken off the belt of truth or your shoes of peace.

I urge my readers to do some serious soul-searching every day, whenever you can find the time. Check yourself to see where you lack in the eyes of God, and try your best to live up to the expectations your Heavenly Father has of you.

This battle is not an easy one. It is one that requires great courage, spirit and loyalty to our Father. This battle is one that tests every one of our abilities. This battle is a test of our faith, courage and desire and striving to succeed. This battle tests our patience to hold on till the very end. This battle tests who we are and where we stand in accordance with God.

All I can say as a fellow soldier, is that we are in this together, and that God is with us no matter what. Feel free to e-mail me whenever you’d like, if you’d like to talk about your personal experiences in this spiritual warfare so far. I’d be glad to hear from you and discuss with you about such matters, and we can all morally support each other in this war with the devil. Here’s my e-mail: steny8295@yahoo.in

I’ll see you next time, and in the meanwhile may God bless you and may the peace of Christ be with you!

Who is worthy of Jesus Christ?

My warmest greetings, dear readers! I hope that you are all doing well by God’s grace and I am too. Today I would like to talk to you all about being a disciple of Jesus Christ.
The disciples of Christ were the first ones to ever be called “Christians”. Here’s a verse

The loyal disciples of Christ..

The loyal disciples of Christ..

from Acts, Chapter 11, verse 26:

26And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

The disciples of Jesus were probably the most loyal disciples ever to be. We read of how they loved their Master more than anything else in the world, and we read of how they started following Him with no question or complaints, but rather they saw it as a privilege to be under this great Master.

But nowadays, a huge majority of people out there call themselves “Christians”. I find it hard to believe that all of these people love Jesus more than their own lives. There are many people out there that call themselves Christians, and of course, they attend church every Sunday, and loyally attend all the functions of the church and things like that, but they do all of this, not for their love of Christ, but for their love of the church.

They love the attention and friendship and new companionship they can gain from church. They like being a part of something. They want an identity in society. Sadly, (now this is not everyone, just some) some just want to show off their new dress and their new car. They want to be part of the biggest, most famous church sometimes, just for the fame of the name of the church.

Now this may not be the case of everybody out there. But still, there is sadly a large majority of Christians out there that don’t care the least about Christ. And this breaks my heart to see these people go about calling themselves “Christians” when the name was coined in the first place for the loyal and loving disciples of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ Himself has told in the Bible of who exactly is worthy of being His disciples:

Mathew, Chapter 10, Verses 37-39

37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Now when I first read this verse, I was very young – about 9 years old, and I was at a Gospel Meeting where my father was preaching, and I remember thinking in heart, that if Jesus Christ disapproves of my love for my parents, then I should stop loving them. I laugh 9b_child_1_500x493_772kat heart every time I remember this.

Even as a child, I always made sure I put God first, as my parents had always taught me. So when I read this, I thought I should stop loving my parents. But I had been mistaken. Later on in the meeting my father himself clarified this subject.

Now, when Jesus said that he that loves his parents or children more than Jesus is not worthy of Him, he didn’t mean to say that we should just hate our parents and children for the sake of becoming His disciple. He meant that we must give Christ first priority in life.

This means a lot of things, and you prove this great love for Christ in many ways in life.

If your parents, friends, children or relatives stand in your way to getting closer to God, then those people are not worthy of your love. You should never do something against the will of God just to please the people around you. If you agree to smoke just for the sake of your friendship, then you’re placing that friend before God in life, and you’re proving you

Don't let anyone stand in your way of following Jesus

Don’t let anyone stand in your way of following Jesus

care more about your worldly friends than about your God.
It is very reasonable that we must love God more than anything in life, because He is ever forgiving and kind and provides us with everything we need. He sacrificed His own Son to save us, a group of wretched, sinful, ungrateful humans. And what more than our loyal love would God ask of? It is a love that any child owes his father, rather, it is the love that any child would be happy and more than willing to give his father.

Now, coming back to the subject of being worthy of Jesus Christ, the second part says, “And He that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.” Now what does this mean?
The cross symbolizes the great hardships in life. The cross is the object that brings upon it’s victim shame, humiliation, suffering, torture, and cruelty. The Bible says that Christians will be ill-treated around the world. True Christians will have to face several hardships

The cross symbolizes suffering

The cross symbolizes suffering

throughout life, and they will not be accepted in society. They will be hated by the world. They will have to face great trials and tribulations in life.

At these times, dear friends, do not lose faith, but rather utilize these hard times to grow closer to God and to increase your hope. See it as a test of your own faith. You claim you’ll be loyal and forever grateful to God and love Him more than anything, no matter what. So then next time you face hardships in life, think of it as a test of your faith, as I said earlier. Prove yourself to God during those times.

But anyways, the cross thus symbolizes hardships in life. And those that do not take their cross and follow Jesus are not worthy of Him. To read more closely, those that do not take their cross don’t deserve to be with Jesus Christ. What does “taking” mean here?
It means that you must accept and suffer the hardships in life that are brought upon you because you chose to accept Christ. You must be willing to face even life-threatening situations if it’s for the sake of Christ or for the glory of God.

Those who are not willing to “take” this cross in life do not deserve to be with Jesus. In

Are you willing to follow Jesus Christ with your cross?

Are you willing to follow Jesus Christ with your cross?

other words, those who are not willing to share the hardships Christ faced in life, are not worthy of being called His disciples.

Also you must take this cross and follow Jesus Christ. You can’t just go wherever you want after having carried the cross. You must go where Jesus Christ went.

Christ walked up the mountain upon which He was to be killed, but after this death, He was to rise to new and everlasting life.

The same with us. We must follow Christ in His path. We will not have to die anymore for our sins, because Christ did that for us, but we may have to face many harsh treatments and hardships like Christ did, but in the end, we will be following Him to everlasting life.

We will discuss the last part of the verse in the next post, as unfortunately time limits my writing for now. But I do want to tell you one thing before I leave for the day: evaluate yourself. You and I need to do this more than anything in the world.

We are human beings no matter what, and sometimes we may have forgotten of God and His great love for us. So it is our job to check ourselves and make sure we are still loyal disciples of Christ and make sure we are following Him with our cross, rather than complaining about the hardships we have to face because of the fact that we are Christians.

The Second Commandment- Graven Images

Warm and heartfelt greetings to you today my dear readers! I must say that I just can’t stop thinking of how much I love our Lord and I feel (and hope!) that I am not alone, for otherwise you would not take the time to read my posts!
Today, let us go back to a subject that we started some time ago, which is the analysis of the Ten Commandments.

Today, let us look at the Second Commandment.

The Book of Exodus, Chapter 20, verse 4:

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

This commandment is very literal. God commands you to not make any graven image, which means “A carved idol or representation of a god used as an object of worship.”

This is what the Israelites did to God after He saved them through Moses. It is said that after Moses came down from the mountain of Sinai after his time with God, with the Commandments, he found them worshiping a calf made of Gold, and making offerings to it. He was enraged and thus shattered the very stones upon which God had written the Ten Commandments.

My question is, how is it that people are so fast able to forget the God that saved them? Why are people so willing to betray God and so slow to accept Him even though He has done such miraculous things in people’s lives?

Even now, I am so sad to say this, but more than 98% of the people I see around me do not care about God. Most of them are just ignorant of the fact that there is a living God watching over the actions of every being on earth, willing to forgive and bless if you are willing to repent.

When we have THE living, true and loving God for ourselves, why must we create sculptures and idols of dead or imaginary beings and worship them? Is it not like saying you are quenched of thirst by making a statue of a waterfall and looking at it, instead of actually drinking from the clean stream that is the only thing able to really quench your needs?

I must say that God hates it when people, especially the people that He has visited and touched in life, decide to disobey Him and make Him angry when they in fact know that He exists and that He despises their actions. Why? What need do we have to do such things?

So for the knowledge of my readers, I have to say this, but many of you may not like this. DO NOT bow down to any idol, to any statue or to any carved or drawn image.

DO NOT WORSHIP these false things when in fact you have the living God watching over you in heaven.

Statue Of Jesus Christ On Wood Cross

DO NOT WORSHIP ANY IDOL, EVEN THAT OF JESUS CHRIST, FOR IT DOES NOT CONTAIN THE LIVING GOD.

And this includes the sculptures in churches. Yes, I know many of you may by now hate me for saying this, but I must write the truth and nothing but the truth. DO NOT bow down to or worship the statues and idols in church, even if they are of the Son of God Himself. None of the Apostles ever made an idol of their Master. It is against the will of God.

He says do not create graven images of anything “that is in the heaven above”, which includes Jesus Christ. I am not saying that you must not worship Jesus Christ. If you for some reason think that is what I am implying, you are gravely mistaken my friend.

Jesus Christ is living. He is risen, and He is in heaven, watching over us and talking to God for our sake. You must worship Him the living Son of God, and not a statue or idol of Him, which does not contain any trace of the real Christ. Idols do not have life. They do not contain any part of God or the Spirit. They are dead, lifeless things which we made from clay and stone, which we shouldn’t have even made in the first place.

I must say that to please God, just worship Him, the one and only real God, in heart and soul. He is with you always. If you have been worshiping the idols and you now see that it was wrong, you can always repent and turn to God, for He is ever-forgiving and kind. If He wasn’t the kindest and just being ever to be, you and I would not be spared, my friend.

And one more thing. When I write these things, do not think that I am trying to force everyone into becoming a true Christian. I am not trying to imply that everything I do is right or anything like that at all. These laws were written by the Almighty God Himself. I am merely a being trying my best to bring the knowledge of God across the length and breadth of this world. You are welcome to either accept and practice or to reject these matters. It is in the end your personal decision.

But those of you who choose to accept the word of God and turn to Him, will definitely be blessed abundantly. True Children of God, will indeed have to face great hardships in life for this world is most likely to despise true Christians and to reject them. But we know in heart who we are and what a privilege it is to be close to God. We know what treasures await us in heaven.

So fear not for God is with you. Jesus loves you so much, and nothing can compare to His eternal love which led Him to even dying for the sake of you and me.

Until we meet next time, may the peace of Christ be with you and may God bless you! 🙂

Alternate Life??

Hello and a hearty welcome once again to all of my wonderful and faithful readers out there! My heart is always filled with love and excitement when I write to you of My God and my dear Savior Christ!

Today let’s pick up on where we left off last time about the subject of fear. In the last post we talked about the fear that eats away at people which is the fear of evil or danger- this is in a way the forbidden fear as the fearful will be denied entrance to heaven as we read in the Book of Revelations.

So now let us take a look at the second kind of fear- the fear of God. Now that is the fear that I would give anything to see in every man on earth, but something that alas is gone from the hearts of most humans today. So the one question remains: Why fear our own Father Who helps and saves us?

That is probably a question that non-Christians would ask. That’s just because they don’t understand the depths of the relationship we have with our God.

When we say that we fear our God, we don’t mean to imply that we are scared to death of Him and have nightmares every night. NO. Our fear is one of admiration and love and respect and reverence. To fear God means to realize and accept that our God is powerful to smite us if He wants but He doesn’t do that as long as we walk in His righteous path because He loves us that much and He wants only for our own good.

Only a loving father will punish his child when he goes astray, correct?

Our fear for God is one that is rooted in as I said again, love and reverence. Without this we are nothing.

Deuteronomy 6:1-2

King James Version (KJV)

6 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lord your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:

That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

Now let us change our path of thought to something new. For quite a few posts I have been explaining some of the Ten Commandments. Now let us take a detour for a bit and then come back to the Commandments.

You must have been confused by the title of my post. But this is what I want to introduce to you today. Alternate life.

Now have you heard of the concept of UFO’s? Wait.. I ask you to not judge quickly and leave thinking that I’m fooling around.. which I am NOT. I have never, am not presently and will never in the future publish gibberish or pointless subjects in this blog nor will I ever write out lies to the world for my God would punish me heavily for that.

Now back to the subject. Most of this world is now acquainted with the idea of a possibility of life apart from earthly life. And most of us have heard of claims of many people saying that they have seen UFO’s or seen actual aliens. So one day we started wondering as to what exactly these aliens are.

And we came to a conclusion. Which I shall explain in my next post. But for the time being I want you to ask yourself what your personal opinion is about aliens.

I’m sorry but for now I have to go. I wish for nothing more than to spend all my time writing out to all of you out there in the world thirsting for the true word of God and longing to know the true God. But due to the restraints of life I cannot. But stay tuned for my next post where I’ll introduce my personal views on this subject and concept of aliens. I’ll just be stating my opinions, that’s all.

God bless you abundantly, my dearest readers and children in Christ! 🙂

Fear not.. please..

Hello and welcome once again my dearest readers! I’m so happy about this blog as the number of readers I’m getting is on a constant rise now! Thank you so much Lord!

Today let’s think of something I never mentioned that I would talk of in my previous post- FEAR

This is something dominating the hearts of almost every human being on earth today. Fear. Oh, how I despise that word! That four-letter word is the manifestation of a feeling that could cost us our eternal future if we are not careful.

What exactly is fear? Why do we have it? What things do we fear? Which of these should we actually not fear? What is wrong with fearing something?

Our basic questions in place, let us start our venture into the roots of fear. So what is fear?

I looked up the meaning in the online dictionary I mentioned in my last post (and I should say this dictionary is a great resource for anyone- click here to visit). I got several interpretations for it, but I shall mention some of the most important and basic ones:

1. A distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, etc.

2. Reverential awe (esp. towards God)

So these are basically the two meanings I think we should consider as the others are just different forms of these two meanings. So the first meaning is the common fear that everybody has in this world. “A distressing emotion aroused by impending danger or evil.” Let me say that this is the fear that God hates. Yes, He HATES fear of evil. , especially when He finds that  His children are torturing themselves with this fear.

If you have read the Holy Bible before, you will find so many instances where you hear this: “Fear Not, for I am with you.” or just simply  “Fear not.” Now have you thought why God would say this so many times?

We as the children of God, have nothing to fear but God Himself – this ties into the second meaning of fear, which we’ll discuss in a bit – because God is the only one who has a power over our lives if we believe so. A true child of God has no need to fear things like evil or death or injury or danger. Those are things that will never be able to affect us if we are on the righteous path before God and if we trust and believe in Christ our Lord.

Psalm 27:1

The LORD is my light and my salvation– whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life– of whom shall I be afraid?

1 Chronicles 28:20

David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished.
Read through these verses and see why God dislikes your fear of evil. Why should we fear something that God will never allow to afflict our lives? Being a child of God and at the same time being paranoid about every single thing that you feel may hurt you is similar to a child holding hands with his parents while crossing the road and still yelling and screaming of fear of the cars that lay stopped on either side. They have NO and I mean ABSOLUTELY NO POWER OVER YOU. When God is holding your hands, why fear the powers surrounding you?
A father always makes sure the cars stop before taking you to the other side of the road, doesn’t he? Well let me tell you this- ourFather is countless times stronger- no, He is

Trust Him- He’ll take you there safe..

infinitely powerful and almighty that He will destroy the powers surrounding you for your sake. When you have such a beautiful father at hand and if you are holding His hands along the way, then why fear?

He will take you to the other side safe. You will be safe and happy with Him on the other side as long as you don’t let go of His grasp. We all will be. The trouble with us is that we try to get out of His hold to go after the many distractions on the way. Please don’t do that for your own sake.
Now read his verse also:

Revelation 21:8

King James Version (KJV)

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Now, read over that once more, please. Who exactly is at the top of the list?

“The Fearful”. Yes, the fearful are the first group to burn in fire.

Why would the fearful burn in the fire of hell? Because they don’t trust and believe in God. Yes. A little fear once in a while is acceptable. But those who fear every single thing in life and even betray their Savior for their own sake, fearing evil forces may attack them- these people are going straight somewhere unpleasant. But what about Peter then? There’s a difference. He cried out and repented right after betraying Jesus. Now would you repent if you betrayed you Savior? Would you even feel guilt in heart? Just think of it.

When you believe that nothing in the world can stop you, then nothing in the world can. When you believe that God will be with you no matter what, then He will be there, believe me. But if you believe that the devil has the upper hand on you, then trust me, he will have the upper hand on you.

Luke 7:50 “And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.”

In the next post, we’ll wrap up the idea of fear and we’ll begin on a new subject that I know you will all be curious to know of.

Law and Order

Hello there again dear readers! I’m glad to be writing to you today!!

For quite some time we’d been discussing several things in my blog, and I hope you’ve been able to analyze them all and come to conclusions on several matters… Well, from today onwards I will be spending some time on this specific subject. “Law and Order”

Now, many people today limit their Bible reading to the Psalms, where there is a lot of

Why not extend your reading to the “piercing” parts of the Bible? Such as God’s laws and what you’ll have to face if you disobey them??

chapters of praise to God and where it is described of how God will bless us and help us and keep us safe and guide us.. Of course you should read the Psalms; it is an important part of the Bible. But why stop there? If not the Psalms, some people choose to pick out some “safe” verses of the Bible, if you know what I mean.. verses that say again of God’s blessings to His children. But as I said, why stop there? Why do people often “forget” about or ignore the verses stating facts like the laws of God and the consequences you’ll have to face if you disobey them?

I mean each and every word written in the Bible is to be read.. The Bible is a concise writing consisting of prediction, law, truth and information. The past, the present and the future is reflected throughout it’s chapters. No science has ever been able to disprove the Bible’s writings.

Hebrews 4:12

King James Version (KJV)

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The Word of God is a Two-Edged sword

The Word of God is “sharper than any two-edged sword”..
Two-edged means it can pierce at both sides. When we use the Word of God, it can not only pierce your enemy, but it can also pierce you, if you haven’t worn the shield of righteousness. What I’m trying to say is that no matter how big of a believer you are, if you have strayed from the path of righteousness even the slightest bit, then the Word can also pierce you.

So why did I say so much about the Word of God and yet name the post “Law and Order”?

You’ll see soon enough. God has set us a strictly righteous path to follow in order to reach heaven. It’s our fault if we allow ourselves to even accidentally stray from it a little bit and

What path have you chosen? Are you still on track with your chosen path, or did you “accidentally” get off of it some while back?

then follow some other path to nothing but the opposite of heaven.

In order to walk the righteous path, God has given us the TEN COMMANDMENTS. Obeying these commandments and at the same time believing in Jesus and repenting from our ways and being baptized- this beautiful mixture of the colors of Christian life will turn you white, but only if all colors are added.

( I just remembered, if you take a little round disc, and divide it equally into six [or seven] parts and color each part one of the six basic colors, and then pass a thread through the middle of it and spin it in high speed, you can see that they merge into the color white! )

So stay tuned for the next post as we will be discussing the Ten Commandments and what to make out of each of them, from a lot of different perspectives.

Christ’s Return- My Aching Wait

Hello there again dear readers! I’m so sorry I haven’t been able to post articles for a few days this week… I may have to change the “one post per two days” practice of mine to ” a post per 3-4 days” as now I’m returning to my studies and I’m becoming a lot more busy than before. But I’ll never stop posting.. of course not! Oh, and I request all readers to take part in this poll:

I was planning on starting a series of related subjects this time, but I’ve decided to postpone that to the next time. Right now I’d like to share a poem I wrote a while ago. I wrote it with feelings deep from my heart so I thought I’d share it with my dear readers.

It’s a poem I wrote one day when I couldn’t stand the wait for Christ’s return. I was sitting outside, gazing at the sky, clouds floating by lazily…

I started thinking of how Jesus  Christ, the one I love most in this world, will someday come in one of those clouds to take us back home.. then I thought, “why does He take so

long?” My heart got filled with both the excitement of being taken to heaven someday in the rapture, and the feeling of loneliness as I wait and wait and wait.. and out of that chaos of feelings, this poem came to existence: Enjoy! 🙂

Your Return

When, my Lord, shall You return,
When , to calm my heart in burn?

For, ages, I have searched the skies,
And tears, I shed from aching eyes.

At every thunder roaring high,
I hope to see the face of Thine.

At every lightning gleaming by,
I hope to meet You in the skies!

For, like a child away from home,
And like a leaf amidst the storm,

I seek the path I lost, the way
That leads me home when I'm astray.
