Let GO of YOURSELF

Hi dear readers, I apologize for not being able to post as regularly as I used to but I am trying my best. To all my new followers, thank you for your time and welcome to this blog dedicated to Jesus Christ and the spread of the true Gospel.

I have always pledged to make you think deeper or at least remind you of certain things necessary to improving our lives in the eyes of God. Today I would like to talk to you about your life and how to let go of it. Yes, it’s about time you let go of your whole life.

First of all, let me ask you something: what is the meaning of the word “Christian”? The first use of it was in Antioch:

“And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” (Acts 11:26)

A “Christian” is someone who follows Christ. Jesus Christ is the Master of a Christian, and the person is a disciple, following his master everywhere, learning His teachings, doing what He does and trying every day to grow more to be like his Master.

A true disciple, however, does not leave his master and go his own way when he wants to. Jesus’ disciples were always with Him, and they left all that they were doing when Jesus came to call them. Peter left his fishing net, James and John left their father’s boat. This means they left their old lives just to be with their Master.

THIS is what a true Christian should do. Peter wanted to fish, but Jesus said “I will make you fishers of men”. Jesus Christ had other plans for him.

Time to leave your worldly nets

Time to leave your worldly nets

When you are a Christian, (if you truly wish to establish a relationship with your Lord) you HAVE to let go of your fishing nets sometimes.

You cannot hold on to the nets that you cast into the waters to get yourself food and money. Once you have dedicated your life to Jesus Christ you have to let go of the net that was built to benefit you. You sacrifice your worldly comforts. You give zero value to it.

You instead take up the net Jesus wants you to take up. A net to catch men. A net to catch souls and bring them to the Kingdom of God. THAT IS the purpose in life of a true Christian.

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” (Romans 8:13-14)

We are not born to live after the flesh. Remember, God created us from dirt. Our flesh is dirt. SO the needs of our flesh are temporary, and whatever achievements we made for sandhand1the benefit of our flesh will be worthless in the eyes of God in the end. Money, fame, food, health, happiness, comfort – NONE of these are achievements. These are temporary and will die with you in the grave. But your SPIRIT is what goes on to live for another eternity, and an eternity is quite a long time – it NEVER ENDS!
” if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.” Give no value to your bodily needs. This earth is your temporary home, my child. The time you spend here is so short and worthless.

What matters most is what works you will have to show God on the final day when your time is over and the Master asks for your harvest. You do not want to be empty-handed when that day comes.

Nowadays, so many people think that the word “Christian” is a common term for anyone who goes to church. They think being born into a Christian family qualifies you.

Well I am here to tell you that you are NOT a real Christian and have NO RIGHT before the eyes of God to use that term for yourself unless you are willing to sacrifice all you have for His name and for His glory, and you give Jesus Christ full control of your life. Let Him decide what your life should be lived for.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:12-13)

Your birth by blood, or flesh or even the will of man does not qualify you. You have to be born of God. You have to let Him control the path of your life in order to fulfill your duties as His child on this earth. If you love Him, it will be completely easy to let go.

People around you will question you and isolate you, but remember this: Jesus suffered a million times more pain for you, so if you love Him, be ready to face everything that comes your way when you decide to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ.

The Shield of Faith

Good morning, and a warm welcome back to all my dear readers today! I have by God’s grace been doing alright, and I hope you have as well.

Today, let us return to our discussion of the Armor of God.

4. THE SHIELD OF FAITH

As we read before in Ephesians, Chapter 6, verse 14-17,

16 “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.”pt196_fierydarts-cropped

This, my friends, is what I have been waiting for. My favorite part of the Armor, the shield of faith!

Our faith in God alone can save us in any time of distress or need. We all know what a shield does for a soldier at battle. The shield is like a part of the armor that he can manipulate to protect different parts of his body according to the enemy’s attack.

A soldier’s shield moves according to how his hand moves, as it is his hand that holds his shield. If we all carry a shield of faith, it is our necessity to carry it and hold it up with all our might, no matter what, in order to protect ourselves so we may  fight further.

shield-of-faithI hope you understand that what I am trying to say is that our faith is our responsibility. Hold it up all the time, meaning don’t lose your faith. The enemy may try to separate you from your shield using his swords and spears, but only if we hold on to it so tight will we be able to protect ourselves. Our faith in God should be strong enough so that no matter who or what comes in our way, we will never let go of that shield.

Having strong faith protects us because God can only protect you if you believe and trust that He can. If you have read my earlier posts, then I trust you remember how I once talked of how our fear makes us vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy. If you would like to read that post once again, please CLICK HERE.

Why should we, the soldiers of the army of the almighty and powerful Heavenly Father, fear at all? Hold on to your faith, my dear fellow soldiers, because it is our duty to fight for our God.

As long as you don’t let go of your shield, the enemy can never touch you. But in order to be completely protected from the enemy, we need ALL the parts of the armor. That is precisely why I am continuing this subject and looking at each part of the armor one by one in detail.

Only if we know exactly what each part of the armor does and what it is comprised of, will we be able to do some soul-searching to see if we lack any of the parts of this armor.

Don’t forget that the enemy is looking for every chance to attack you, and you may not even know it; therefore, always be fully prepared for anything. Therefore, my friends, keepArmorOfGod-1_49213259_std your armor intact every second of every day, not letting the enemy touch you. Check your armor when you get the chance, looking to see if you’ve accidentally taken off the belt of truth or your shoes of peace.

I urge my readers to do some serious soul-searching every day, whenever you can find the time. Check yourself to see where you lack in the eyes of God, and try your best to live up to the expectations your Heavenly Father has of you.

This battle is not an easy one. It is one that requires great courage, spirit and loyalty to our Father. This battle is one that tests every one of our abilities. This battle is a test of our faith, courage and desire and striving to succeed. This battle tests our patience to hold on till the very end. This battle tests who we are and where we stand in accordance with God.

All I can say as a fellow soldier, is that we are in this together, and that God is with us no matter what. Feel free to e-mail me whenever you’d like, if you’d like to talk about your personal experiences in this spiritual warfare so far. I’d be glad to hear from you and discuss with you about such matters, and we can all morally support each other in this war with the devil. Here’s my e-mail: steny8295@yahoo.in

I’ll see you next time, and in the meanwhile may God bless you and may the peace of Christ be with you!

Who is worthy of Jesus Christ?

My warmest greetings, dear readers! I hope that you are all doing well by God’s grace and I am too. Today I would like to talk to you all about being a disciple of Jesus Christ.
The disciples of Christ were the first ones to ever be called “Christians”. Here’s a verse

The loyal disciples of Christ..

The loyal disciples of Christ..

from Acts, Chapter 11, verse 26:

26And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

The disciples of Jesus were probably the most loyal disciples ever to be. We read of how they loved their Master more than anything else in the world, and we read of how they started following Him with no question or complaints, but rather they saw it as a privilege to be under this great Master.

But nowadays, a huge majority of people out there call themselves “Christians”. I find it hard to believe that all of these people love Jesus more than their own lives. There are many people out there that call themselves Christians, and of course, they attend church every Sunday, and loyally attend all the functions of the church and things like that, but they do all of this, not for their love of Christ, but for their love of the church.

They love the attention and friendship and new companionship they can gain from church. They like being a part of something. They want an identity in society. Sadly, (now this is not everyone, just some) some just want to show off their new dress and their new car. They want to be part of the biggest, most famous church sometimes, just for the fame of the name of the church.

Now this may not be the case of everybody out there. But still, there is sadly a large majority of Christians out there that don’t care the least about Christ. And this breaks my heart to see these people go about calling themselves “Christians” when the name was coined in the first place for the loyal and loving disciples of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ Himself has told in the Bible of who exactly is worthy of being His disciples:

Mathew, Chapter 10, Verses 37-39

37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Now when I first read this verse, I was very young – about 9 years old, and I was at a Gospel Meeting where my father was preaching, and I remember thinking in heart, that if Jesus Christ disapproves of my love for my parents, then I should stop loving them. I laugh 9b_child_1_500x493_772kat heart every time I remember this.

Even as a child, I always made sure I put God first, as my parents had always taught me. So when I read this, I thought I should stop loving my parents. But I had been mistaken. Later on in the meeting my father himself clarified this subject.

Now, when Jesus said that he that loves his parents or children more than Jesus is not worthy of Him, he didn’t mean to say that we should just hate our parents and children for the sake of becoming His disciple. He meant that we must give Christ first priority in life.

This means a lot of things, and you prove this great love for Christ in many ways in life.

If your parents, friends, children or relatives stand in your way to getting closer to God, then those people are not worthy of your love. You should never do something against the will of God just to please the people around you. If you agree to smoke just for the sake of your friendship, then you’re placing that friend before God in life, and you’re proving you

Don't let anyone stand in your way of following Jesus

Don’t let anyone stand in your way of following Jesus

care more about your worldly friends than about your God.
It is very reasonable that we must love God more than anything in life, because He is ever forgiving and kind and provides us with everything we need. He sacrificed His own Son to save us, a group of wretched, sinful, ungrateful humans. And what more than our loyal love would God ask of? It is a love that any child owes his father, rather, it is the love that any child would be happy and more than willing to give his father.

Now, coming back to the subject of being worthy of Jesus Christ, the second part says, “And He that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.” Now what does this mean?
The cross symbolizes the great hardships in life. The cross is the object that brings upon it’s victim shame, humiliation, suffering, torture, and cruelty. The Bible says that Christians will be ill-treated around the world. True Christians will have to face several hardships

The cross symbolizes suffering

The cross symbolizes suffering

throughout life, and they will not be accepted in society. They will be hated by the world. They will have to face great trials and tribulations in life.

At these times, dear friends, do not lose faith, but rather utilize these hard times to grow closer to God and to increase your hope. See it as a test of your own faith. You claim you’ll be loyal and forever grateful to God and love Him more than anything, no matter what. So then next time you face hardships in life, think of it as a test of your faith, as I said earlier. Prove yourself to God during those times.

But anyways, the cross thus symbolizes hardships in life. And those that do not take their cross and follow Jesus are not worthy of Him. To read more closely, those that do not take their cross don’t deserve to be with Jesus Christ. What does “taking” mean here?
It means that you must accept and suffer the hardships in life that are brought upon you because you chose to accept Christ. You must be willing to face even life-threatening situations if it’s for the sake of Christ or for the glory of God.

Those who are not willing to “take” this cross in life do not deserve to be with Jesus. In

Are you willing to follow Jesus Christ with your cross?

Are you willing to follow Jesus Christ with your cross?

other words, those who are not willing to share the hardships Christ faced in life, are not worthy of being called His disciples.

Also you must take this cross and follow Jesus Christ. You can’t just go wherever you want after having carried the cross. You must go where Jesus Christ went.

Christ walked up the mountain upon which He was to be killed, but after this death, He was to rise to new and everlasting life.

The same with us. We must follow Christ in His path. We will not have to die anymore for our sins, because Christ did that for us, but we may have to face many harsh treatments and hardships like Christ did, but in the end, we will be following Him to everlasting life.

We will discuss the last part of the verse in the next post, as unfortunately time limits my writing for now. But I do want to tell you one thing before I leave for the day: evaluate yourself. You and I need to do this more than anything in the world.

We are human beings no matter what, and sometimes we may have forgotten of God and His great love for us. So it is our job to check ourselves and make sure we are still loyal disciples of Christ and make sure we are following Him with our cross, rather than complaining about the hardships we have to face because of the fact that we are Christians.

Alternate Life??

Hello and a hearty welcome once again to all of my wonderful and faithful readers out there! My heart is always filled with love and excitement when I write to you of My God and my dear Savior Christ!

Today let’s pick up on where we left off last time about the subject of fear. In the last post we talked about the fear that eats away at people which is the fear of evil or danger- this is in a way the forbidden fear as the fearful will be denied entrance to heaven as we read in the Book of Revelations.

So now let us take a look at the second kind of fear- the fear of God. Now that is the fear that I would give anything to see in every man on earth, but something that alas is gone from the hearts of most humans today. So the one question remains: Why fear our own Father Who helps and saves us?

That is probably a question that non-Christians would ask. That’s just because they don’t understand the depths of the relationship we have with our God.

When we say that we fear our God, we don’t mean to imply that we are scared to death of Him and have nightmares every night. NO. Our fear is one of admiration and love and respect and reverence. To fear God means to realize and accept that our God is powerful to smite us if He wants but He doesn’t do that as long as we walk in His righteous path because He loves us that much and He wants only for our own good.

Only a loving father will punish his child when he goes astray, correct?

Our fear for God is one that is rooted in as I said again, love and reverence. Without this we are nothing.

Deuteronomy 6:1-2

King James Version (KJV)

6 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lord your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:

That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

Now let us change our path of thought to something new. For quite a few posts I have been explaining some of the Ten Commandments. Now let us take a detour for a bit and then come back to the Commandments.

You must have been confused by the title of my post. But this is what I want to introduce to you today. Alternate life.

Now have you heard of the concept of UFO’s? Wait.. I ask you to not judge quickly and leave thinking that I’m fooling around.. which I am NOT. I have never, am not presently and will never in the future publish gibberish or pointless subjects in this blog nor will I ever write out lies to the world for my God would punish me heavily for that.

Now back to the subject. Most of this world is now acquainted with the idea of a possibility of life apart from earthly life. And most of us have heard of claims of many people saying that they have seen UFO’s or seen actual aliens. So one day we started wondering as to what exactly these aliens are.

And we came to a conclusion. Which I shall explain in my next post. But for the time being I want you to ask yourself what your personal opinion is about aliens.

I’m sorry but for now I have to go. I wish for nothing more than to spend all my time writing out to all of you out there in the world thirsting for the true word of God and longing to know the true God. But due to the restraints of life I cannot. But stay tuned for my next post where I’ll introduce my personal views on this subject and concept of aliens. I’ll just be stating my opinions, that’s all.

God bless you abundantly, my dearest readers and children in Christ! 🙂

Law and Order

Hello there again dear readers! I’m glad to be writing to you today!!

For quite some time we’d been discussing several things in my blog, and I hope you’ve been able to analyze them all and come to conclusions on several matters… Well, from today onwards I will be spending some time on this specific subject. “Law and Order”

Now, many people today limit their Bible reading to the Psalms, where there is a lot of

Why not extend your reading to the “piercing” parts of the Bible? Such as God’s laws and what you’ll have to face if you disobey them??

chapters of praise to God and where it is described of how God will bless us and help us and keep us safe and guide us.. Of course you should read the Psalms; it is an important part of the Bible. But why stop there? If not the Psalms, some people choose to pick out some “safe” verses of the Bible, if you know what I mean.. verses that say again of God’s blessings to His children. But as I said, why stop there? Why do people often “forget” about or ignore the verses stating facts like the laws of God and the consequences you’ll have to face if you disobey them?

I mean each and every word written in the Bible is to be read.. The Bible is a concise writing consisting of prediction, law, truth and information. The past, the present and the future is reflected throughout it’s chapters. No science has ever been able to disprove the Bible’s writings.

Hebrews 4:12

King James Version (KJV)

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The Word of God is a Two-Edged sword

The Word of God is “sharper than any two-edged sword”..
Two-edged means it can pierce at both sides. When we use the Word of God, it can not only pierce your enemy, but it can also pierce you, if you haven’t worn the shield of righteousness. What I’m trying to say is that no matter how big of a believer you are, if you have strayed from the path of righteousness even the slightest bit, then the Word can also pierce you.

So why did I say so much about the Word of God and yet name the post “Law and Order”?

You’ll see soon enough. God has set us a strictly righteous path to follow in order to reach heaven. It’s our fault if we allow ourselves to even accidentally stray from it a little bit and

What path have you chosen? Are you still on track with your chosen path, or did you “accidentally” get off of it some while back?

then follow some other path to nothing but the opposite of heaven.

In order to walk the righteous path, God has given us the TEN COMMANDMENTS. Obeying these commandments and at the same time believing in Jesus and repenting from our ways and being baptized- this beautiful mixture of the colors of Christian life will turn you white, but only if all colors are added.

( I just remembered, if you take a little round disc, and divide it equally into six [or seven] parts and color each part one of the six basic colors, and then pass a thread through the middle of it and spin it in high speed, you can see that they merge into the color white! )

So stay tuned for the next post as we will be discussing the Ten Commandments and what to make out of each of them, from a lot of different perspectives.

If you have any questions on the matter, don’t hesitate to e-mail me at: steny8295@yahoo.in

God bless all of my wonderful readers who take their time to know God, and dtill we meet next time, May the peace of Christ be with you! 🙂

Christ’s Return- My Aching Wait

Hello there again dear readers! I’m so sorry I haven’t been able to post articles for a few days this week… I may have to change the “one post per two days” practice of mine to ” a post per 3-4 days” as now I’m returning to my studies and I’m becoming a lot more busy than before. But I’ll never stop posting.. of course not! Oh, and I request all readers to take part in this poll:

I was planning on starting a series of related subjects this time, but I’ve decided to postpone that to the next time. Right now I’d like to share a poem I wrote a while ago. I wrote it with feelings deep from my heart so I thought I’d share it with my dear readers.

It’s a poem I wrote one day when I couldn’t stand the wait for Christ’s return. I was sitting outside, gazing at the sky, clouds floating by lazily…

I started thinking of how Jesus  Christ, the one I love most in this world, will someday come in one of those clouds to take us back home.. then I thought, “why does He take so

long?” My heart got filled with both the excitement of being taken to heaven someday in the rapture, and the feeling of loneliness as I wait and wait and wait.. and out of that chaos of feelings, this poem came to existence: Enjoy! 🙂

Your Return

When, my Lord, shall You return,
When , to calm my heart in burn?

For, ages, I have searched the skies,
And tears, I shed from aching eyes.

At every thunder roaring high,
I hope to see the face of Thine.

At every lightning gleaming by,
I hope to meet You in the skies!

For, like a child away from home,
And like a leaf amidst the storm,

I seek the path I lost, the way
That leads me home when I'm astray.

Purify your hearts

Hi again dear readers. I’m glad to write for God again!

I don’t know why, but for some reason I decided that the title for my post today should be “Purify your hearts”. I never thought of what I’ll write as my content, but it seems that my fingers know just what to do.

A key component of a good prayer is a pure heart. When you sit down to pray, your hearts must be pure, and by pure I mean in all ways pure. Only a pure heart can connect with God.

That means that before sitting down to pray, you must check yourself thoroughly in the inside to get a clear picture of just what is exactly going on in there. Do you have jealousy towards anyone at all for any reason? Have you ever hurt someone on purpose and justified yourself in heart?

Have you ever been disloyal to someone, or taken advantage of someone’s trust in you? Have you ever been boastful of yourself and looked down upon others?

Have you ever felt ashamed to claim you’re a child of God in front of others? Have you ever betrayed Jesus by words like Peter did?

Have you ever thought of paying someone back for his bad deeds towards you? Is that thought of revenge still on standby in you heart, awaiting for a chance? Have you ever thought less of God? Have you ever thought less of Christ? Have you ever thought less of prayer? Have you ever joked of God? Have you ever thought “why do I need to pray? It’s so silly and tiring..”?

Have you ever purposely lied to God or to you close friends or family? Have you ever looked away from a person seeking help? Have you ever even considered sinning? Have you ever let sinful thoughts enter your mind at all?

Have you really lived a righteous life? Have you really not hurt anyone nor done anything wrong in life?

Consider it.

Cleanse your heart of all of these that you find down there by admitting to each of these to Christ. Open up your heart and say, “Jesus, look at me.. this is what I’ve done, and I never realized it.. please cleanse me and forgive me so I may pray in peace”

It doesn’t matter if you’re born again or baptized or no matter how much a child of God you are, you still have to make sure you’re on the right path by soul-searching, and thus

Let’s follow the model of our dear Lord and pray with an open heart, admitting your fears and doubts.. seeking solace in our Lord.. seeking the will of our Father..

realizing your own wrong-doings and repenting for them again.

Me, my mother and father do this when we sit down to pray.
I’m not ashamed to admit to God that I’ve been sometimes jealous or heartless to people. A heart that’s ready to admit it’s wrong-doings is what God loves most.

Remember this: No one’s perfect.

You and me.. we need to cleanse and purify our hearts, before we sit down to pray.

I’d like to know if you were able to try doing this yourself, so please comment.. May the peace of Christ be with you!

Yahweh the Fire of Justice

Hello again dear readers! As I said in my earlier post, in this post, I shall describe how God can be related to fire using some significant Bible quotes.

1. God appears to Moses

He appeared to him in flames

This is perhaps the most powerful appearance of God before man.

And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.”
It is remarkable how God appeared in a flame, out of a bush, and yet the bush never was consumed! God’s fire sustains life, like I said earlier.. God is the fire of Justice.. His children all carry the flames of love, righteousness and justice in their hearts…
There was a man named Ron Wyatt who dedicated his life solely to making remarkable discoveries that reassure the truth behind the stories in the Bible. One such discovery of his was that of the actual Mount Sinai, the very mountain upon which God appeared to Moses in flames. Here’s an actual picture of it:

The top of Mount Sinai, actually situated in Arabia, appears to be BURNT.

Did you notice how the top of the mountain stands out from the others in a dark complexion? The top of this mountain is actually BURNT. Yes, my friends, burnt! This is because this is the very mountain upon which God, as I said earlier, appeared to Moses in flames, and those flames were fierce enough to burn a whole mountain!

Those were the flames of God. Heavenly Flames! The strength of God’s flames are so powerful that they could burn through the hardest rocks and completely turn a whole mountain to ashes!

Ron Wyatt, a true man of God, made discoveries that could silence all arguments against the Bible.whole mountain to ashes..

Ron Wyatt was a great man of God who made many significant and indisputable discoveries that were unquestionable evidence enough and of such great importance that no one in the world can find the strength to argue against the Bible after seeing his videos and documentaries. Here’s a link to his website:  http://www.arkdiscovery.com/

Stay tuned for my next post where I post more quotes from the Bible about God’s heavenly fire. Today’s post really needed the mentioning of this discovery, which can reassure the faith of many of you out there!

In the meantime, God bless you all! 🙂 Peace be with you!

Do participate in the polls if you’d like!

The Man who gave up a Life-Saving Opportunity

Hi there again, dear readers! I’m glad that you are able to find time to read my posts as well as I enjoy sharing these experiences and views with you!

Today I want to tell you about a man whom we met in India. He was our neighbor..about 34 years old. He had a job in Northern India (We were at the southernmost tip) and his wife and son were with him there. He came back to south India for treatment, as he had a tumor in his brain! It was growing constantly and gave him a lot of pain everyday! He was on the verge of death..

He came in seeking prayer. Well, my father prayed for him one night. He repented with all his heart and shed tears enough to flood the whole house! He was so speechless from guilt on one side and the power of the peace of Christ penetrating him on the other. After that my father prayed for him and rebuked the devil that had taken hold of his brain and life in the Holy name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

After that, he was a changed man. He was much more active and lively! He told us of how

He was more active than ever!

he used to think every month (he had to have MRI scannings every month, and it cost him a lot of money) when he withdraws money from the bank, “Why am I doing this? What’s the use if I’m dying? It seems silly to use up so much money just to find out how much more it’s grown in me…”

But now the case was different… he no longer had pain, and his head felt light.. Again, he was a changed man!

But as he had already scheduled a scanning and paid for it before coming to us, he went for his final scanning.. and the results surprised he himself as well as the doctors! There was NO TUMOR! It had completely disappeared!

We had scheduled his baptism and were waiting for his wife and son to get vacation so they too could come and be baptized. But to our dismay, a few weeks later, he fell into the depths of sin. The devil had tempted this weakling too much.. he plunged into the darkness of sin  again so much he couldn’t even think of God anymore.

And now, he is on his death bed.. His wife and child who had come excited about being

But now he’s on his deathbed….

baptized, came to a man on the verge of death again as punishment for his sin. The devil gave him cancer in his throat. This event took place just a few months ago, and he still is in his deathbed, awaiting death’s call at any time.

My friends, don’t be like this person.. do not take the miracles of God for granted.. don’t take advantage of the miraculous healing and deliverance God gives you in your life to sin with the new health He gifts you with. If you take advantage of the chance God gives you in life, then  God will take away the shield of protection He had spread over you, and you will become even more vulnerable to the devil’s attacks..

Stay tuned for the next post where we’ll look deeper into this “Shield of Protection”

Until then, God bless you and keep faith!

Sleepless Nights..

Greetings once again, dear readers!

Today I want to share with you a rather funny yet unbelievable thing that happened while we were in prayer, as I mentioned earlier. Me, my mother and my father of course- we were in constant prayer and for about 3 months that’s pretty much the only thing we occupied ourselves with.

Now, as the prayer progressed, God started showing signs of starting a great chain of events that would eventually become the matter of talk for a whole neighborhood. People started coming into our house asking for deliverance from a wide variety of diseases, ranging from colds and coughs to cancers and tumors!

One such day, a man came in, talking about how he could not find peace because of all the illnesses surrounding him and his wife, which made life for them hard. He kept talking for about an hour and a half, and we patiently sat there listening to him. Finally, when he had finished talking, my father began to slowly talk to him from the Holy Bible as he does to any other person seeking healing, for if they are taught ( or reminded of- if they already know these things) from the Bible the words of God which reveal the true meaning of belief, and words which reassure faith, then they will instantly be healed if they accept these teachings and believe.

But just as my father started to talk to him from the Bible, to our surprise, we found him swaying there in his seat, eyes closed, mouth wide open, like a baby, fast asleep! My father tapped at his leg and woke him. He asked the man why he had slept when he was being told the words of Christ. He replied “Ah! This is one of the other things I need prayer for- I fall fast asleep whenever I listen to Gospel teachings!” My father said, although at that time, we took it insignificantly, that he would, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, not sleep from here onwards till the day  he (my dad) says he can again.

Anyways, my father taught him from the Bible and he kept awake. Every Saturday, we had a prayer meeting, to make it convenient for people with jobs and school to come for healing. The next Saturday, while we were in the middle of a blessed prayer, this man from before came in suddenly and fell down before dad, saying “Oh, you shouldn’t have done this to me, please!” At first we had no clue as to what he meant. We later found out that from that day my father told him so, he hadn’t slept for a whole week!

Then my father said “I give you the blessing of sleep again, in Jesus Name, but never sleep again while you are hearing the Word of God.” He slept better than ever that night!

Remember, don’t ignore the word of God. It is very powerful. Even more powerful than anyone in this world can imagine.

Send us an e-mail if you, my friend out there, need deliverance. God will heal you, He is willing to heal you, if you are willing to believe!

Till next time..
